This very act = turning His back and/or forsaking He, HIMSELF, promised He would
Yet He did to His OWN Son, Jesus Christ.
Then, I think, you know, Praise Abba Father! Because Jesus was the ONLY ONE who could handle- God's back being turned on Him and still get up! We could not bare the thought- let alone the action of God forsaking US! Praise the Lord for He is the Master!
From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land. About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?)”
Matthew27:45-47
God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
Hebrews 13:5
Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
by becoming obedient to death—
even death on a cross!
did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
by becoming obedient to death—
even death on a cross!
Philippians 2:5-9
